Preparing and Caring for your Spray Tan

Exfoliating with a non-oily scrub is essential to gently remove dead skin cells and even out the skin's surface. This step will ensure that your skin is perfectly primed for your spray tan application.

What to Avoid before your Spray Tan Appt.

* Exfoliating products that leave the skin excessively oily. Salt scrubs should be avoided.

* Make sure that all lotions, creams, deoderants, make up and other toiletries are removed from   the skin before your spray tan. If these products are left on the skin, discoloration and uneven     results can occur.

* Shaving should be done at lease 1 day prior to your spray tan. Waxing should be done a few     days before your spray tan. Be sure and replace razor blades. Old, dull shaving blades can       strip your tan ans cause uneven fading.

* All jewelry should be removed before your spray tan. Tight fitting jewelry, such as watches or     rings should not be worn until after showering.

What to Wear to your Appointment

Wear dark, loose clothing and shoes to your spray tan appointment - think about wearing sweats or a sun dress. Tight fitting clothing can botch tanning results. Plan not to get wet, exercise or sweat for at least 4-6 hours after your spray tan. After showering normal activities may resume. NOTE: You will see some color washing off the first tiime you shower. Don't be alarmed - this is just the color guide. Your spray tan will continue to develop for up yo 48 hours.

What to Wear during your Spray Tan

Make certain to bring a dark colored bathing suit. Avoid light colored bathing suits as they can stain. Most tanning sprays will wash out of clothing ver easily, but tend to stain light nylon and other light synthetic materials.
